The owner of VIP Pets of the Belle’s was born in Germany and immigrated to America at an early age. She learned the language, customs and fell in love with the American way of life. Along the way she became a certified licensed real estate agent, and successfully practiced that for several years. Looking to get back to her first love (animals) pet sitting or house sitting is her only full-time business which allows her to commit to it 100% to each client.

It would be very fulfilling to me personally if I provide optimal service, a reward that I strive for. My own dog is a Rottweiler that I have since 8 weeks of age. We have done a lot of training together, up to Therapy dog certification. Plus, in the past, I took care of a Labrador full time which is 6 years old. I have owned dogs for a long time.

A couple of years ago I organized a Bark in the Park in my old neighborhood, benefiting a local rescue group. I also volunteered for ABC (Animal Based Charities) in Tampa. Which I still highly recommend if you want to donate items you no longer need for a good cause. They run a thrift shop, and funds will be used for various Pet organizations.

It's completely run by volunteers, so the full amount is used for the good of dogs and cats. I rescued two dogs prior to my current dog. Preferred service area is Belleair, Belleair Bluffs, Belleair Beach, and Shores, Harbor Bluffs, but I would consider other nearby areas.

We found Petra Taylor on Nextdoor to look in on our furry family during our vacation. She was a true gem to find!!! She was extremely warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process and during our trip. We felt prior to leaving that Mocha Bella was in very capable and trusting hands. Petra looked in on Mocha Bella twice a day. She sent us thorough updates and photos during every visit. Upon our return Mocha Bella did not seems stressed at all and the house as well as her supplies were in order and organized. We felt like Mocha Bella had as much fun during the week as we did. Mocha Bella can't wait to rebook with Petra. We are very much looking forward to trusting Petra with Mocha Bella's care on all of our upcoming adventures!!!

Petra is the best! We have a 15 year old Lab and she takes such good care of him. When we go away I know he is well taken care of and I can enjoy myself. She sends me pictures and puts me at ease that Bailey is doing well! I love that I found such a caring person to watch our Bailey!

Petra has taken care of our 3 dogs for us several times now. We have a senior who requires very specific care. Petra does an excellent job in making sure each of the dogs’ individual needs are met, including the handling of medication. She always sends photos showing happy doggies and puts me at ease when I’m away.

Petra is the best pet sitter! We have two cats that needed care while we were away for almost two weeks. Petra came over and took her time with them. She stayed at least a half hour and groomed the cats, fed them, cleaned the litter and gave them treats. She sent many pictures each time of the cats and they seemed really happy to have Petra there. We would certainly use her anytime we are away!

Petra took such excellent care of our cat. This was our first trip after adopting so Petra definitely made being away so much easier. Very good communication. She sent us pictures of our kitty after every visit. We already booked her services for our next trip, we highly recommend her. Petra is also a talented pet photographer 😊

We recently tried Petra to watch our dogs when we went out of town and she was excellent. She walked the dogs multiple times each day loved on them and sent us pictures so we knew they were in good hands. It is the first time since moving here two years ago we tried a dog sitter that we did not know personally. Petra now walks our dogs every day and they love her. I hesitantly write this review because I don't want her to get too busy😃 She is great!

I was visiting Belleair Beach and broke my foot. Petra helped tremendously walking my Charlie twice a day so that I could heal properly. She arrived on time, was very communicative in letting me know when she was on her way and she sent the most adorable pictures. But, more importantly, Charlie loved her and waited for her each morning and evening. I felt very comfortable with her and I would highly recommend Petra.

Petra was so great! My animals loved her. She was prompt and was super loving to my pets. I would totally use her services again!

I would absolutely have Petra take care of my dog. Not only does she love dogs, but we think she is a "dog whisperer "! Petra is a neighbor of ours and we see her interact frequently with her dog, Alexis as well as other dogs in the neighborhood. We have noticed that Petra is very aware of the other dogs and shows concern when she thinks a dog is not getting the best care. Her Alexis is well trained and shows she has a good owner. Petra truly loves animals.

It always takes a while for our lab to warm up to strangers but Petra was very patient & each day got better & better. Now he looks forward to her visits & we have peace of mind that he’s getting great care!

It isn’t easy finding someone you can trust in your home and care for the animals you love but Petra does that and so much more. She is easy to communicate with and very accommodating with our ever changing schedules. We get updated texts and pictures with each visit/ walk. Our pups are in great hands with Petra and we highly recommend her and will continue booking with her in the future.

Our dogs are so spoiled; Petra takes such good care of them. With our busy schedule she is always so accommodating. If work goes late all we have to do is text Petra to take them on another walk. We are able to take short trips and she is wonderful about staying overnight with them. We don’t have to worry about our dogs when we need to fly out for the weekend. We didn’t know anyone when we moved here and finding a trustworthy loving pet sitter was such a blessing!

Petra is wonderful! Very reliable. My pets - an 11-year old cat and 2-3 year old dog love her. (The dog gets excited when she hears Petra’s voice.). And Petra is a genuinely sweet and caring person. Recommend her wholeheartedly!
